Description:
The Home for Trainers Webinars Work Group (WWG) was created in 2012 in response to the publication of the National Standards for Healthcare Interpreter Training Programs (NCIHC, 2011) with the purpose of helping interpreter trainers meet the newly published standards through a series of trainer-focused webinars. The WWG continues to host webinars that provide instructional opportunities and related resources designed to help improve training content, methods, and techniques. Each webinar is presented by subject matter experts and leaders in the field of healthcare interpreting. The WWG hosts six new topics each year, and recordings are accessible through the NCIHC Learning Center.
