The National Council on Interpreting in Health Care (NCIHC) stands with six leading professional associations in opposing Executive Order 14224, which threatens civil rights and limits language access for individuals with limited English proficiency (LEP). We urge the administration to rescind this harmful directive and encourage our members to join the upcoming public briefing and advocate for inclusive policies.

Unity across the Language Access Community—including service providers, buyers and sellers of language services, LOTE speakers, and Deaf, Deaf-Blind, and Hard of Hearing individuals—is essential to achieving equitable communication for all.
