Danyune Geertsen Biography

Danyune Geertsen, M.A., led the training, quality assurance and certification departments for over 18 years at Language Line Services. As the Director of Language Line Academy, the external training and testing arm of the company, Ms. Geertsen led the efforts that developed the performance testing for medical interpreter certification, which has been offered by the National Board of Certification for Medical Interpreters. Ms. Geertsen is retired and lives on the Monterey Peninsula, California.
